It may still be spring, but the summer is here for me. My independent research went swimmingly and now it's time for some summer projects. The main one will be will Management Productions. It is a semi staged version of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. We'll be presenting it over two nights this August at the Riverhead Free Library, with half of tens tory each night. I'm adapting it from the original radio series, with some elements from the books and the tv version. There will be minimal costume and props, but it is sure to be a lot of fun. There will be a projection throughout that brings the Guide to life, with original music and sound effects by James Yaiullo and Tim Palmer respectively.
Also, looking forward to the Fall, I was cast as Judge Brack in Stony Brook's MainStage production of Hedda Gabler. I'm a big fan of this play and that character, so it should be a great experience.
